Distributions

One measure of the impact of the work of the Foundation is the amount of funds distributed for ministry. A total of $2,969,895 was distributed in 2010, including distributions to beneficiaries of unitrusts and charitable gift annuities, distributions from endowment trusts to beneficiaries (local United Methodist Churches and Conference affiliated agencies), and distributions/withdrawals from custodial accounts benefiting local United Methodist Churches and Conference affiliated agencies.

There are many stories behind those numbers—stories of how lives are transformed by gifts from donors who left a legacy of Christian generosity. In 2010, the Foundation distributed nearly $3 million —
