Meet the Staff
Jeffrey A. Taylor
Jeff is a graduate of West Virginia University, where he received his undergraduate degree in business administration in 1983 and his law degree in 1986. Jeff is the immediate past president of the National Association of United Methodist Foundations; a past president of the KYOWVA Planned Giving Council; a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning; past president of the Cabell County Bar Association, and a member of the West Virginia State Bar.
Jeff is a a deacon in The United Methodist Church and has served in a variety of capacities in the local church, district, conference and jurisdiction.
Jeff has been with the Foundation since 2003. He is available to meet with individuals and families and to make presentations to churches, committees, boards and agencies about planned giving, endowments, church finances, and stewardship in general.
Kimberly A. Matthews
Kim received her Bachelor's of Science and her Master's of Science degrees from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Prior to joining the staff of the Foundation as Associate Director, she served for 19 years as Research Associate with Marshall University School of Medicine and its affiliates, co-authoring several peer-reviewed journal articles.
Kim is a member of the National Association of United Methodist Foundations, the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and the KYOWVA Planned Giving Council. Kim is a Certified Lay Minister as well as a Certified Lay Servant. She is active as a volunteer in her Church, District and in the Annual Conference. .
Kim is available to meet with individuals, families, churches and agencies to discuss planned giving, endowments, church finances and stewardship.
Judy has served as our Accounts Administrator since June of 2015. She has more than 20 years experience in office management and accounting, including non-profit work. Judy has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an Associate of Arts in Social Sciences from Ohio University, and Associates of Applied Science in Accounting and Business Administration.
Jaye Walker joined the team in August of 2015 as our Administrative Assistant. Previous to joining the Foundation, she served as the Administrative Assistant for a local accounting firm and as the assistant manager of an apartment complex. Jaye has educational experience in the field of office administration.
