Planned Giving

What is planned giving?

Planned giving is all about giving for the long term.  A planned gift can create a legacy that has an impact on ministry far into the future.

A planned gift is different from the offering collected each Sunday.  While both are important, planned giving comes from a different source of funds than weekly giving.  Planned giving most often includes gifts from accumulated assets instead of regular income.

Planned gifts can be as varied as the interests and needs of the donor.  They can include such items as retirement plans, insurance policies, appreciated securities, real estate, or other assets.  The gifts may be made through such vehicles as trusts, charitable gift annuities, donor advised funds or a bequest in a will.

You can find information about the different tools for planned giving on this website, but please remember that we are here to help.  As you consider the possibilities, please contact us.   We can meet with you to explore the options that best meet your needs.
