The United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia, Inc. is governed by
a Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees consists of
31
persons,
all members of United Methodist Churches in the West Virginia Conference (including Garret County, Maryland).
The
resident Bishop of the West Virginia Conference, 7 clergy members and 24
lay persons is the framework for the 2008-2009 Board of Trustees.
Board members are elected for a three-year term during the Board of
Trustees' spring meeting. The Executive Committee, which consist
of the
resident Bishop, Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, President, Secretary,
Treasurer, and each Committee Chair, meets twice a year. The full
Board
of Trustees conducts a spring and fall meeting.
